About Unity Farm
Securing the Food Quality and Quantity
Unity Farm, is Auroville`s collective farming unit, research & training hub that actively seeks to discover procedures that will increase crop yields and livestock, improve farmland productivity, reduce loss due to disease and insects, develop more efficient equipment, adopt the latest technology and increase overall food quality and food security for future.

This unit works as a Model Farm for all new or existing farming aspirants (Aurovillian) and focuses more on natural regenerative agriculture in a sustainable environment. Also, adapting to the latest technology without disturbing the environmental and ecological balance.
Unity Farm organizes training and exposure visits on sustainable and natural farming practices for interested organizations and community groups on request. A mix of presentations and field visits is organized. Specialized training are also conducted on request.

Our Vision

Leading and creating sustainable farming models.

Providing training and knowledge sharing to inside / outside farming groups.

Facilitating educational programmes for visitors, schools, volunteers, or interested farming groups or communities.

To examine the shortlisted farming groups who participated in the model farming and allocate Auroville Farm Units for mass production.

To check for redundancy of crops or overproduction, In case of overproduction tie-up for sales with the 3rd party retail distribution units to generate revenue to Auroville.
